Hindawi Editors’ Articles - Nanoparticles

Published on April 21, 2022

In this month’s edition of Hindawi Editors’ Articles, we're looking at the applications of nanoparticles across medicine and agriculture. All three articles were published last month (March) and are co-authored by members of the Editor Community.

  1. In this study, co-authored by Mejdi Snoussi, researchers investigated the biological properties of silver nanoparticles synthesized using dried orange peel extract, including anticancer activity and anti-biofilm activity against MRSA strains.
  2. A review of current evidence on drug loaded PLGA nanoparticles, co-authored by Vijay Kumar Srivastava, considered their potential use as a therapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease therapies.
  3. A recent research article, co-authored by Shamsul Hayat, investigated the mechanisms by which foliar application of copper oxide nanoparticles can increase growth and biomass in mustard.
